ISO 15552 Cylinder Series ILT (Internal Linear Transducer)
arrow_backTil oversigtenMetal Work launches the ISO 15552 Cylinder Series ILT (Internal Linear Transducer).
The new cylinder Series ILT (Internal Linear Transducer) is a pneumatic actuator with an ISO 15552 standard interface containing a potentiometric linear transducer capable of detecting the position of the piston (and consequently of the rod) throughout the stroke.
A pneumatic magnetic cursor is integral with the piston, while the resistive sensor is inside the hollow rod. The detected signal is proportionate to the rod position; for example: 0 VDC retracted rod, 10 VDC extended rod.
The transducer is powered by a special M12 connector located in the rear head of the cylinder and the analogue position signal can be read via the same connector.
The cylinders Series ILT are currently available having ø50 and ø63, in double-acting, non-cushioned and non-magnetic versions and are provided with an STD-series liner.
Since this is a ISO 15552 cylinder, all the accessories shown in the catalogue for this family of actuators can be used.
