An X-Ray Scanner application (1st. generation), was dripping oil from the linear guideways installed for vertical and horizontal movements. Customer needed to eliminate the dripping in the 2nd. gen..
LINROX came up with the idea, to apply a special process, to change the surface energy in the material, and apply a micro-thin layer of special oil, that bonds to the system.
Customer tested 30.000 cycles with full load on each axis, and the guideways appeared as new, and..... NO DRIPPING!
